Oscar winning Director, Pawel Pawlikowski wins the Best Director Award for his second feature Cold War at Cannes 2018. Cinestaan Film Company have been delighted to play a part in this extraordinary production which has received a fabulous reception at Cannes and rave reviews from the critics.

Cinestaan Film Company is committed to championing exceptional international facing films, and are bringing to life India’s first ever live action animal feature titled Aasha The Street Dog (working title) directed by Frederik du Chau and international award winning animator Gitanjali Rao’s debut feature Bombay Rose. An Indo-UK co-production with Film London, ‘The Hungry’ had its world premiere at the 42nd Toronto International Film Festival, followed by its European premiere at London Film Festival and its Asian premiere at MAMI. The film is a contemporary retelling of Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus starring Naseeruddin Shah, Tisca Chopra and Suraj Sharma.
With Cold War, Cinestaan takes the next step into extraordinary films which may or may not have any India connect. Next to follow shall be The Torch, a co production with IFC Films.
